Before I became a Realtor®, I had a challenging and fulfilling career in human resources management and adult education. The interpersonal skills and multicultural knowledge that I developed during those years enable me to work effectively with sellers and buyers of diverse backgrounds, and to negotiate solutions when problems occur between the parties in the real estate transaction. My goal as your Realtor® is to help you sell or buy your home for the best price, in the shortest period of time, and with the least inconvenience to you and your family. My professional background includes:

• 20 years experience as a Human Resources manager and executive for Weyerhaeuser, PACCAR, Swedish Medical Center, and two of the leading Seattle-based biotechnology organizations. 
• 10 years experience negotiating and administering complex contracts;
• 12 years teaching courses in MS and MBA degree programs; 
• 12 years military service as commissioned officer in U.S. Army (Vietnam veteran) and Army National Guard.

Education:

• MS degree, Human Resources Management, University of Utah
• BS degree, Psychology, University of Washington

International experience: Lived and worked for 9 years in Germany, Japan, Okinawa, Korea, and Guam. I have made a number of trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific moves,  and know from personal experience about the demands of international relocation.

Family: Married; 1 son, 1 daughter, and 3 grandchildren. I have two brothers and a sister, and my 89-year old father is still going strong.

Hobbies: Fly fishing; UofW Husky football; scuba diving; sport kites; jazz, blues, and classical music; cooking; audio and home theater; digital photography; and wood carving (my Northwest Coast mask, "Spirit Man & Raven", is seen below and on left side of the Homepage).
